- TEST BEFORE EVERY USE: You MUST perform a waterproof test before EACH use to ensure the pouch's integrity. Failure to test could result in water damage to your device.
- How to Test:
- Place a dry paper towel inside the pouch.
- Seal the pouch COMPLETELY, ensuring the closure is tight and secure.
- Remove excess air from the pouch before final sealing for accurate results.
- Submerge the sealed pouch completely underwater in a sink or basin.
- Place a weight (e.g., a heavy plate or stone) on top to keep it fully submerged. Avoid sharp objects.
- Leave it submerged for at least 30 minutes.
- After 30 Minutes:
- Remove the pouch from the water.
- Thoroughly dry off the outer surface of the pouch with a towel before opening.
- Carefully open the pouch and inspect the paper towel.
- Result & Action:
- PASS: If the paper towel is COMPLETELY DRY, the pouch is safe to use.
- FAIL: If the paper towel is damp or wet in ANY way, DO NOT USE the pouch. It is not waterproof. Inspect for damage and replace if necessary.
- Critical Usage Limits:
- Maximum Water Exposure: NEVER exceed 2 hours of continuous submersion per use, even if the test passed.
- Depth Limit: Do not exceed the recommended depth rating (typically 3-5 meters / 10-15 feet for similar pouches - check your specific product rating). Deeper pressure increases failure risk.
- Inspect Before Use: Always check the pouch for punctures, tears, debris in the seal, or signs of wear/deterioration before testing and use. Damaged pouches will fail.
- Maintenance:

- Dry completely (inside and out) before storing.
